about us;

why we transitioned to farm life

a bit about us;

2023

Nicole and I (Wally) wanted a new start, while still making contributions to our quality of life. In 2012 Nicole was diagnosed with MS which would change our lives forever. At first Nicole followed all medical advice and medications given. Over the course of the next several years we found that managing stress, eating healthy, and enjoying life was the best cure we could have ever found. Even though we had a large garden outside city limits, (which was not very practical) we found it hard to find fresh, naturally grown meats and other products, other than the produce we grew in our remote garden. Our dream is to get back to basics like our parents and/or grandparents did.
So we packed up our belongings, sold the house and bought an acreage where we could control the food that we grow and eat. With a little luck and the graciousness of God we will prevail. This is our story.

Gardening

2024

This year we decided to focus more on raising the animals so we could provide Fresh to Your plate options to our customers. This year we also focused more on building more storage areas for our garden tractors and provide us with more storage.

2023

Well we have been here for an entire year, unfortunately we did not receive a big harvest in 2022. We said that we would be grateful for any harvest we received and that we were! This year now that a major part of the renovations have been completed along with barn repairs we will have the ability to provide the garden more love and care.

2022

We relocated to our Farm in May of 2022, and usually grow our plants from seed, however due to the time-frame we purchased a few pre-grown plants to transplant this year. Even though we had a bit of a late start we were able to get the garden worked up and plant our garden. So our harvest will still occur this year and we are excited to share our adventures along the way!
